Services

Tree pruning and limb removal across south Ontario.

Two services right now, done properly. Full removals queued for once the rig scales up.

Tree Pruning

Clean cuts that keep your tree healthy for decades.

Quote on site

Pruning is the difference between a tree that thrives and a tree that becomes a liability. Every cut is intentional: removing what is dead, diseased, or interfering, preserving what is structurally sound. Mature shade trees, young trees that need shaping, fruit trees that need rejuvenation, ornamental trees that have grown into problem zones.

Most residential pruning jobs are completed in a single visit. You get a free quote before any work starts, and a clean yard when we leave (debris hauled or chipped onsite, depending on your preference).

How it works

  1. Walk the property with you, identify which trees need work
  2. Quote each tree separately so you can choose scope and budget
  3. Climb or use a pole saw and pole pruner depending on the cut height
  4. Three-cut technique on larger limbs to prevent bark tearing
  5. Chip or haul debris based on your call

Good for

  • Mature shade trees that have not been pruned in 5+ years
  • Branches overhanging the house, driveway, deck, or sidewalk
  • Young trees that need structural pruning for long-term shape
  • Storm damage cleanup (broken or hanging limbs)
  • Crown thinning to let more light through to the lawn or garden

Limb Removal

Hanging, broken, or in the way? Down it goes.

Quote on site

Sometimes a tree is fundamentally healthy but one or two limbs are problems: a hanging branch from a storm, a limb growing into power lines or onto the roof, a dead leader that is about to fall. Removing those specific limbs is faster and cheaper than full tree work, and it solves the immediate hazard.

We focus on this kind of targeted limb work. Roped descents from the crown for awkward limbs over structures, careful sectioning to control where the wood lands, and clean cuts at the trunk that let the tree heal properly. Most limb removals are a same-day or next-evening job.

How it works

  1. Assess the limb and identify safe rigging points
  2. Set rope and lower line for any limb over a structure
  3. Section the limb (cut from the tip back) to keep wood under control
  4. Make a final clean cut at the collar to allow the tree to heal
  5. Chip or haul wood and clean up the site

Good for

  • Storm-damaged or hanging limbs
  • Dead leader branches that are dropping deadwood
  • Limbs over the roof, garage, deck, fence, pool, or driveway
  • Single problem limb on an otherwise healthy tree

Full Tree Removal

Full tree removal requires bucket-truck access (for street trees) or experienced ground crew with rigging gear (for backyard removals). Both are in the plan. For now, we focus on pruning and limb removal jobs that can be done safely with current tools and experience.

If you need a full tree taken down soon, send a photo of the tree and we will tell you who to call.
